May 17 Panel Discussion Focused on Oil and Gas Activity in Laramie County

The Cheyenne Area Landowners Coalition will host a panel discussion on oil and gas activity in Laramie County on Wednesday, May 17th from 6PM to 8PM at the Kiwanis Community House in Lions Park, 4603 Lions Park Dr, Cheyenne, WY 82001.

The purpose of the community forum is to inform Laramie County residents with the processes of oil and gas development. Members of the panel will be able to address questions from the public on all issues related to oil and gas development, ranging from the permitting process by different state agencies, to emergency response, air and water quality impacts, water usage, road maintenance, and other issues.

Representatives from state regulatory agencies and other experts will be on the panel, including Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission Supervisor Mark Watson, Department of Environmental Quality Deputy Director Alan Edwards, Laramie County Planning and Development, Laramie County Emergency Management, and the State Engineers Office Groundwater Division. County Commissioner Amber Ash will be moderating the panel.

The public and impacted landowners are encouraged to attend and bring their questions and concerns to be addressed by the panelists. Please contact Casey Quinn, Powder River Basin Resource Council Cheyenne Organizer, at 307-274-1084 with questions regarding the meeting.
